Favorite Traveler Club and SlowAccess Frequent Flyer Awards
SlowAir makes free travel available via its SlowAccess Awards Program and Favorite Traveler Club. Benefits of the Favorite Traveler Club program include priority placement at the front of bathroom lines onflight, at our many Lost Baggage Desks, and at some departure gates. Additionally, speak to our helpful SlowStaff about possible upgrades in seating when flying Ultra Economy Reclining-Only, and a valuable extra packet of peanuts (honey roasted).
Passengers can apply for enrollment in the Favorite Traveler Club program by sending a detailed CV, letter of intention, seventeen professional references, and three samples of publishable writing to SlowAccess Favorite Traveler Awards, University of California Press, Berkeley, CA. Once enrolled, members accumulate mileage at a rate of one mileage point for every 3.5 miles flown. Awards are available after accruing 100,000 mileage points. Free trips must be booked five years in advance of travel date and may not occur during blackout periods: all weekends, Ramadan, June, July and August and Flag Day.
Despite SlowAir's partnership with Air Padania, absolutely no mileage points from any other frequent flyer program may be applied to travel with SlowAir. Nor may SlowAccess points be used with any other carrier. Mileage Points may not be bought from other flyers, or agents of SlowAir.
Passengers whose Favorite Traveler Club references are found to be false, from personal not professional sources, or produced under dubious circumstances will be quickly shrink-wrapped and quietly thrown overboard without parachute.
